Don't think those halfwits will do much better. I've got no faith in either party.

People always want to change the administration when things get rough, its what we do, maybe we should bin democracy all together and have a dictatorship for a change but nobody would be content then either Im just old enough to remember the awful 80s, the depths of despair and deprivation, when old people died from the cold, not because of energy prices but they didn't have any additional money coming into cope with the cold winter weather tories, no, they should stay firmly in the history books as taking Britain to pieces, letting the famous private sector run riot to rip us all off now, disengaging the ordinary folk, we are still living with the thatcher legacy, id rather just not vote and let the ssuffragettes spirits turn in their graves

I agree with you about Labour alot of them are closet commies like John Reid they are turning this country into a police state. But the Tories are a joke hoodie hugging Dave is becoming more and more like old Blair trying to appeal to the guardian reading liberal elite ignoring the concerns of the majority . We need a party that stands for the old conservative values ( not Thatcher ism) proper sentencing , demolishing the nanny state and giving parents back they role of bringing up there children and also deal with the PC councils and proper education in schools and the right of teachers to discipline. And also the complete withdrawal from the EU so there will be a nation to run.

The problem is, Labour have done nothing to improve the mess the Tories left us in after 1997. In fact they have carried on Thatcher's and Major's sucky legacy.
However, Labour's new policies have caused my friends, who are self-employed and doing very well for themselves, to be worse off under a Labour government. Although they are traditional Labour supporters, they have voted Conservative the last couple of times, and although I am a Labour supporter (though I would veer towards the Lib Dems if they had a decent leader - I dunno about Ming Campbell yet) I don't blame them.
The best thing that Labour have done is introduce the Winter Fuel Allowance. That says a lot, doesn't it?

The text of your question is a complete contradiction of the headline question. By comparison to this government the Tories are like the blood transfusion service. I agree with what you say, but am still confused by your description of the Tories.

I think we should all vote for a change of government but a hung parliament would be fun wouldn't it - just think of all the bitching and back stabbing that would go on. I have never liked Blair - I still see him as the Sun pictured him prior to his first term in office as having horns and a tail. Don't like Brown he is too much of a stuffed shirt. Cameron's a bit weak but at least he has Boris Johnson on his side so they have comedy value and don't know much about Ming Campbell - he has had too much of a low profile to be able to form an opinion of him

So long as they are going to scrap the ID card, and support hundreds of years of civil liberties law, yes. They are not great, but they ran the country far better than Labour has. Labour have given our domestic policy to the EU and foreign policy to the US and our economic policy to the Bank of England.
This leaves them the schools, hospitals and crime/immigration left to run. These are ALL a shambles and yet it is all the the labour party does run now!
This could be because, instead of dedicating themselves to run the public services properly, they are obsessed about following a Stalinist approach to registering, tracking and monitoring everything everyone does (normal, born and bred people of course, the immigrants and illegal aliens are immune) Criminalising the innocent from going about what was previously thier lawful business. Now you can be fined for putting the wrong kind of rubbish in your bins, or not cleaning your empty tin cans properly. Like as if THAT is going to do anything about the FACT that the sun is getting brighter and hotter and contributing to global warming. Every other planet in the Solar System is warming up too.
As the government freely admits, if we reduced our CO2 emmisions to zero overnight, that reduction would be eaten up by China and India inside one year. So what difference is taxing or fining me, or tracking my car journeys from space, going to make to global warming? NONE! it's just legalised theft with no benefit at all for the environment!
Incompetence, arrogance, lies and corruption of an order that the tories never ever got anywhere near!
Compare, under the 'sleazy' tories, a very junior minister accepting £2K to ask a question in the commons and the furor that erupted? Cash for Questions!!! Sleaze sleaze sleaze!!!
BTW What WAS that question? and did any policy change because of it? hardly big time sleaze in my humble opinion.
Then you get Labour £12 MILLION pounds in (nudge nudge, wink wink) loans accepted by the Prime Minister himself! And the lenders, (who never expected the money back) get nominated for peerages! add this to the Hinduja affair, and the million pound Bernie ecclestone donation that uniquely had F1 excempted from the tabacco advertising ban - A KEY plank of Labour's health reforms in 1997! and many many more examples of anti British corruption and sleaze that put's tories sleaze firmly in the amateur's league!
From gay affairs and moments of madness on clapham common to Government Minister's being amongst those named on credit card statements during the child porn raids in 2002-2003 that had several celebrities outed for looking at child porn on the internet! The Government slammed a very firm 'D' notice on this, preventing the media from reporting on it.
Then the biggest crime of all! Blatant lies in the commons (calling the plagiarised thesis about Saddams Iraq prior to 1991 'the latest intelligence') about the February dossier in Iraq and insisting that March 2003 was the last chance and the war must be declared to rid Saddam of WMD that he must have known did not exist in any form that could be considered a threat!
Lying to send our service men and women to war is the lowest of the low! it is treasonous!
Even the tories NEVER did that!
Personally I would prefer UKIP or the BNP to be in power, as to remove the UK from the awful nation destroying EU, but Labour MUST be stopped!

Bobby, you're half-way to answering your own Q. 'cos you correctly recognise the Tories as "...bloodsucking...".
They do this by taking the utter p*ss out of the electorate when they use our hard-earned taxes to bank-roll their rich mates giving them hand-outs in the form of business grants. And they'll never change. That's their principle reason for being in politics.
So, unless you own a business here in the UK or abroad, there's no sense whatsoever in voting Tory. It's like turkey's voting for Xmas. They'll financially crucify you, then decrease funding in the services we all take for granted but need so much.
That's why you're right in saying they're a bunch of bloodsuckers.
So no, we shouldn't vote the bloodsucking Tories in the next election.
I don't care who you vote for - that's entirely your affair - but voting Tory is like shooting yourself in the foot and then finding you can't get the wound treated 'cos of lack of resources.

why did you invite them into your country, you already knew they were troublemakers in their own countries, yet you welcomed them with open arms, now you pay the price"
Can't agree more.... look at some of the undesirables Britain has let in over the last fifty odd years... the moment they established themselves they started pilllaging and wrecking like nobody's business!
Shirley Porter, Leon Brittan, Keith Joseph (Israeli)
Michael Portillo (Spanish)
Michael Howard (Hungarian)
oh for a less liberal immigration policy...

You honestly believe Labour are really in charge; wow water fluoridation really does work...
"Labour"; is just the label over the door of number 10, Whitehall operates independently - irrespective of which ever party that appears to have been "elected"...
Blood Sucker = Vampire = ROMAN Catholic : A reference to their need to bleed people to death with taxes and wars...
Mrs Blair = Catholic,
Tony = Pseudo Catholic (he has taken communion)
John Reid = Catholic.
Brown = Mason (the worst type of Catholic - a Catholic that does not know he is a Catholic)
