The song's 'officially' called I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) and The Proclaimers were the original artists to record it. Other bands that have covered it since include: Less Than Jake / Allister / Toy Dolls...

what an effing legend of a song! the proclaimers did Scotland proud writing this classic! it was not a cover, they wrote it! One of them lives up the road from me! Or at least he used to, and I met this woman who has their cousin!
