I think most people have. However, it is nice to mix it up some.

No but my hubby has O.C.D. (obsessive compulsive disorder) and has many rituals. Everything he does has to be done a certain way and exactly that way every time, his laces must be pulled straight forward after he takes his shoes off, they all must be lined up in a certain order ................ I could go on but I'd run out of room to write them all. lol

Yes, I have a few such as checking my alarm clock several times to make sure it's set for the correct time and also that I have it on. I also have a habbit of checking to make sure my front door is locked quite often as well.

Rituals are normal, however should they interfere with everyday life, they become a mental disorder. (OCD)

I walk up to a chair to sit down, but first i have to stand and face it and turn to sit down. (so i have done a full 360degree turn). It's weird but i catch myself doing it often. I'm pretty compulsive about what i do but dont need therapy....yet!

Oooh, yes! And I HATE it when someone else messes them up!! My b/f moved in with me recently and it's taking me a while to get used to it!!!
I also obsessively recycle - but he doesn't seem to understand that plastic bags are (unbelievably) PLASTIC - and go in the recycle bin!!!!
GRRR
;-)
