5 yrs ago when my son was ill i knew it was more than a stomach bug so i went with my gut in stint and took him to the hospital. He had contracted meningitis and we nearly lost him. If i hadn't have took him i dread to think what would have happened. I always trust my gut instinct!

I have had a lot of these kind of experiences. Nothing really drasticor life changing. I have often looked at a person and thought "I don't like you, you're not a nice person" and then I found out in the future that they had turned out to be horrible.
The worst thing though was when I just "felt" like I should call my mum because something was wrong and the next day she told me that my uncle had died.
I think intuition is a natural ability to jusy know things about people or situations without there really being any reason to know.

I believe that intuition has the opportunity to play a huge part in all of our lives. It is your inner voice, that part of you that the majority of us switch off to, either because its right and it scares us or because we are told from an early age that these things don't exist. I believe intuition to be a more fluid form of precognition, something that happens to us in the moment and is spontaeous, rather than arriving as a vivid flash of images, it is a feeling that is acted upon without the interference of deep thought. I believe that is is our psychic side, the massive untapped resource that resides within all of us, sneaking through and forcing our hand when it really matters. But that is just what I think. :O)

It didn't involve saving anyone's life-but I have had intuitive occurences.
One time,I was walking up to my daughter's school to pick her up when I suddenly felt quite upset and angry, and had the feeling my daughter had been hit in the face and the teacher did nothing about it. I shrugged it off as irrational, and made my way up to the school. Well,my daughter walked out,and there on her left cheek was a huge red lump that was swiftly bruising. Usually, when a child has been injured, the teacher comes out with a note explaining what happened and what treatment they gave. My daughter told me a classmate (known for volatile behaviour) had hit her in the face with a book,so I went to ask the teacher about it. The teacher said she hadn't realized my daughter had gotten hurt-but remembered her crying! GRRRRRRR!!

Intuition is the subconscious giving us back information we've stored about our past experiences, in the form of a feeling that often causes us to act quickly and avert danger.

I'm a croupier. I work in a major Las Vegas casino. I see this every day. I have found that intuition is most successful when personal interest has been removed. Admittedly, that doesn't happen very often in Vegas.

I am so psychic it bothers me.Though I picked a stock once when I was 15 , it went from 25 cents to five dollars a share, [computer service center].I was laying in bed and suddenly I awoke. I stared at the phone for four hours till Shirley Ann called and said John had been killed.I knew the exact time of my grandfather Ballews death., and instead of going to the hospital I went to my mothers home to be with her when her sister would call at seven. she called at seven.my mother was like that. she would get up. go to the phone wait. then it would ring and she would say hello Becky or whoever before they spoke.I could tell you so many story's. there is so many times I would know somethings bad was going to happen and I couldn't do anything about it.My mother called me 3 times. to warn me. told me how she had a dream. saw blood and four blacks with spears.there was four white guys breaking in my car,at night. I jumped on them . and fought them.one cut me real bad on my arm.cut my tendons.barely made it out of there alive, Its like I used to eat every day at a Chinese buffet,I love the crab legs. and one night I dreamed of a Salmon. frozen, sliding out of a metal box. they added Salmon the next day to the buffet..Peace

It is a very real thing that millions of people deal with in all aspect of their lives. Is it really just a instinct or is it really the mind ability to for see future event in a totally different perspective. No one will really know for sure, That is until we know more about the working of the human brain................... One thing that I do know for sure is that it helped me save my own life and the lives of others...................

intuition is a perceptive insight. when i was 20 my husband and i were driving home from the drive in movies it was around 2:30 in the morning. when i went into a deep trance like state all of a sudden i seen motorcycles along the road and the people on them trying to stop us.when my husband stopped to see if they needed help they took are money and shot us. i could hear and feel my husband yelling at me and touching me trying to get me to respond. when i came out of the trance, he ask me what was wrong and i told him what i seen.he was skeptical until we got up the road and there was 2 motorcycles with 4 people on them trying to get us to stop. i dint know if they would have killed us or what they wanted but after we passed they turned around and headed the other way.i don't know what intuition is. people have told me everyone have a guarding angel, maybe it was god, or maybe it just wasn't my time to die.maybe if there is a heaven one of my relatives seen it was going to happen and came to my thoughts to warn me. maybe we were born with this sense to protect our selves and people around us. i have predicted deaths in my family, and stopped deaths from happening,i don't know how we do it or why we have intuition all i know is i do have a very strong one.
