i recently bought a peugeot metal-x moped and found the front wheel to be a bit loose i was wondering if anybody could give me a rough guide as to how to tighten it. the wheel slightly turns bout an inch or so away from the handle bars i don think its a big job i just need to no wat i need to tighten it thanx

if its the wheel its self, then remove split pin on spindle then tighten the nut if nut is tight & you can not see any gap between the hub &forks check berings by uting bike on stand then with one hand hold top of wheel & the other bottom of wheel now push withone hand &pull with other & vice versa if wheel wobbles you have faulty wheel berings

Frist i would remobe the axle and bearing clean them up, and instect for damage. If tyhey are o.k. pack with wheel bearing grease and re-install. Tighten down untill the wheel begind to drag, back off untill cotter key hole will line up , with wheel spinning freely.
