no, Apocalypse has powers to numerous to list here and is a villian, Cyclops is a mortal with the power of a concussive lazer blast from his eyes and is a good guy

No they are not the same character. Cyclops is an X-man who is no older than 30 yrs old. While Apocalypse is a mutant who thinks he is a God and he is over 5,000 years old.

there was an issue where they merge, Apocalypse needs a living vessel to contain his power that's why he seems immortal, when his own body burned itself out he has to transfer his power to others almost like replacing batteries. humans don't last long so he has to "sleep" in order to recharge his power. his ultimate goal was to get Nate Grey the alternate version of cable from the Age of Apocalypse story aka X-Man who is unaffected by the techno-organic virus that cable is affected with, then he would have become extremely powerful, as the transfer was taking place Cyclops sacrificed himself by jumping in between them at the last minute and the two became one. this did not last long and they were eventually separated.

No way ! Apocalypse is a virtually immortal mutant bonded with extraterrestrial technology(REAL BAD GUY)has:Superhuman strength, speed and stamina, invulnerability. Energy manipulation, Teleportation, Force fields, Flight, Shape-shifting, Immortality. Telepathy and Telekinesis, can give himself virtually any superhuman physical power, can change his size at will.
Cyclops is the guy in the Xmen movies who shoots powerful "optic blasts" from his eyes(Good Guy).

no, apocalypse is an in-depth character with a very well fleshed out personality and background.
Cyclops is professor x's yes man with no real will or personality of his own to speak of. He is a true one-dimensional character.
