Is the new PS3 worth the money or shall I purchase another? WHat accessories will I need in order to enjoy it to the MAX!?

Get a 360. Whoever feeds you mumbo jumbo about the graphics being better on a PS3 then the 360 doesn't understand technology very well.
More so if you are into on-line gaming. Playstation missed the boat with on-line gaming and will never catch up to what Xbox has to offer on line. And that will be their eventual downfall. Xbox also offers better games then PS3 will offer. Halo1/2/3 is a perfect example, not to mention the new release Gears of War and FEAR just to name a select few.
The best feeling in the world is getting a Playstation addict hooked on Xbox 360 and seeing their face after they realize what they've been missing out on.

I would wait on the PS3 and see if there are bugs that need worked out,, as some will not play some music sound tracks from PS2 games and some will not play PS2 games period, save your money wait till price comes down or else buy an X-Box 360, or if thats out of budget,, a standard X-Box is good too,
The Bugs I mentioned were on the news other night,, so its a known bug,, I would go with 360 for now, then go PS3 maybe by spring or summer,, prices will come down Im sure with competition with the X-Box 360

wait on it for a while. the price now is high. too high to be compared with the other consoles right now. If you're say loaded, then I'd advise GO FOR IT! If not, wait till the initial rush has quelled, then buy the ps3.get the wireless controller too, cos you might accidentally pull the ps3 off whatever stand you're using, and *crash* and its gone forever. Buy another memory card, so that you can store more saved games.

I think the PS3 will be a very good console, but I'm just going to stick with my PS2 for now. If you have the money and really like video games (and I mean REALLY like) you should go for the PS3, otherwise stick with the PS2 for now.

id suggest going for the 360 and holding out for the ps3 until after a year.the 360 has a better catalogue of games for now and a robust online content.sony has a history of having a weak title launch.it wasnt a year later that the games started to come out real strong for the ps2.

I would recommend that you get the XBOX360 unless you can afford to spend in excess of 2000$ to get a PS3 . There's not much difference in quality . The Price of the PS3 wont come down anytime soon , So Go for the XboX360 . Its awesome . Check this out
