Man ~ You know what I mean, man? Cool ~ That movie was cool. Did you see how many cars exploded in the first half? Hot ~ used by car dealers. This '98 ponitac is Hot with that 6 cylinder engine. Dude ~ That dude over there is cool in that hot Ponitac. Yeah, but my grandma has one just like it, man. Sick ~ like bad, but worse. Means good.

this has been circulating among a few of the restaurant/bar industry headz in some parts of the ATL:
"Heard" - giving a heads up that your request/statement/update has been heard and acknowledged. this is to insure that the response is directed to a co-worker, rather than a customer or guest

Hella. Hands down. Basically, can mean "a lot" or "really" if you aren't familiar with the term. It goes somewhere in every sentence, sometimes twice. Or three times.

"Guay"

It means "cool" in Spanish. It is really widely used throughout the whole of Spain - I'm not sure when it first became popular.

"Qué guay" means "How cool".

Also "guiri" - which is a slang term for "foreigner" over here.
