I have been watching a lot of those tattoo shows on tv and I have to admit that I find one or two tattoos on a woman to be sexy. I also feel the same way about piercings. Is it totally sexist or selfish if I asked my wife to get a tattoo on the small of her back or something like that? Neither one of us have any body art and I am afraid that all she will feel is that I don't find her attractive enought without a tattoo... Thanks for your opinions.

I just wanted to add for you that I would be more that willing to have a tattoo or two if my wife was on board with it... if she did not agree then I would not get any.

I wish my guy thought more like this. he hates tattoos, i like them. i got my first one on my back and he didn't even seem to care.
i think it's attractive too, but not to many or those big gaudy ones. i like the smaller tattoos.
just say, hey honey, a little (whatever kind of tattoo) would look absolutely amazing on your beautiful body right here, on your back. I think it'd look gorgeous! what do you think?
and if she just says no, or doesn't like the idea much, so be it. if she gets offended (which i doubt would happen unless she's like that often) just say your sorry, that you thought it'd be a neat idea to discuss with her.Oh and a note on what the person above me said, they can be addictive. I got my first one at 19, and as soon as it healed i wanted another one. lol, of course I'm pacing myself though.
and I did because I personally made the dicision to. I didn't want to regret not getting one while I'm still young, so I went for it. I never regreted it, and never will. I say if you want one, even if she isn't 100% behind you, you should get it. you only have one life to live, live it fully! Like I said my guy didn't want me to get one and i did anyways.

There's nothing at all selfish about it, it's an innocent question. As long as you let her pick the tattoo, considering it's her body, and of course it's even better if you pay for it. Just make sure you let her know that you think she's beautiful with or without the ink and holes.
A warning, though? I mentioned to my wife that I thought tattoos were beautiful three years ago. She decided to get one, she'd been working up the nerve to get inked anyhow, and now she's currently mid-way through tattoo number ten. They can be addictive.

I accept as true with you, I exhibit my artwork up to viable. I even have my possess idea for ppl who aren't inked, if you do not adore it do not appear at it. My most effective piercings are stomach button and four in each and every ear. By the way in which I have 12 tats my hubby has approximately 25+. Congrats to your marriage ceremony day, don't forget it is your day do it how ever you prefer!

That would be a good idea as long as it is her decision in the end. Tattoos are beautiful and permanent. Bring her one of those cute stick on temporary tattoos for starters to see if she is into the idea. Best of luck to you.

She has to be the one to want it. Tattoos are forever and people dont think about it but what is that tattoo going to look like when you are old. So she has totally want to get it and for her, not you.

I wouldn't appreciate it if my husband asked me to do this. If she had wanted one, she would have chosen to have one on her own.
