Yes, most definitely. The increased cost of ticket prices to pay for overpaid overrated players has put a dampener on attendance also. It doesn't feel anything like I used to remember in the 70s/80s singing on the terraces, pity really...

Highly unlikely! At least 3 major football teams have had to increase their stadium capacity to allow for the extra demand. All this in the last 12 months. People enjoy the atmosphere of live sports events. TV just doesn't cut it!

Ooh yes.Most of the viewer seem not necessary to attend the live concept if they can watch it through TV.On the other hand they save money spend too.Therefore,the income decrease in gates collection and that's why organisers dislike the concept to be channelled on TV.

Yeah and in football all Premiership games should be on Saturdays & lower league games on Sundays. That way fans would be able to watch Premiership games on TV and watch their local side. Also fans who follow two sides i.e Barnet & Arsenal or Chester & Liverpool would be able to watch both games.
