I am not a fan of Rush Limbaugh. I blogged about him once.
This guy is so far up his own ***, I don't even know how he draws breath to feed the ill-informed grey matter in his head. He is claiming to be the source of all media; all others look to Rush before they even know what to report on, before they even know what is going on in the world. Thank the heavens that there is a glutonous, hill-billy heroin (Oxycontin) addict to lead the way down the correct and shinning path of American righteousness. How many times has this man got his facts completely wrong? He is not a stupid man, he knows how to pander to his listeners preconceived prejudices and ideas. However, all the while he is misinforming them. For shame. He insists to his listeners that it is the left who engages in name calling while debating, yet it is Rush selling bumperstickers that say, "Still Voting Democrat? You're Stuck On Stupid." Rush is famous for making statements which miss the point and subject completely. A fabulous example is his description of the horrible abuse of prisoners in Iraq, dismissing it as pranks like those of a fraternity.
RUSH: "Exactly. Exactly my point! This is no different than what happens at the skull and bones initiation and we're going to ruin people's lives over it and we're going to hamper our military effort, and then we are going to really hammer them because they had a good time. You know, these people are being fired at every day. I'm talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You of heard of need to blow some steam off?" I haven't watched Rush more than 3 times. I always thought I could outrun, outjump, and outclimb Rush. I wrote him a couple of letters, which he probably never read.
The man has a following, that cannot be denied. Give the man a break.
People watch television for many reasons. Many men identify with Rush because of their own frustrations with women. I prefer that to men acting out their aggressions ON women.

I'll ignore him he's a lunatic. Women in this day and age are sky rocketing to the top the tough job. I wonder how old is grumpy old Rush now he should be wearing a bra of size 60 I guess. The way he talk he sounds like a woman with menstruation. Hormonal embalance that is.

One the other hand, during those times he was wasted on OxyContin and Vicodin, so who knows? People say weird stuff when they're high. Of course, that doesn't explain why he's STILL spouting off....
