That's a very broad question, and open to much interpretation, but yes, I do appreciate the finer things in life.
Most of them are also the simpler things in life, like watching the sunrise in the middle of the Caribbean, or the smell of freshly mown grass after a cloudburst.

This is my Contradiction. The tiniest things make me so, so happy...just elated--like giving my plant a bath in the tub today (he has big palm leaves which collect dust) or sharing an apple with a deer. But on the flip side, I'll spend $1,800 on a Gucci purse and another $1,500 for the matching boots. I don't rationalize, it just is.

So what are the finer things in life...QUALITY experiences and items.

:-)))) Not my most holistic answer, I know.

I try to. I think cable tv is one of the finer things because I grew up without it.

Sure do!! If you don't how will you ever appreciate anything else. I find that a smile on a handicapped child makes me appreciate the fact that I have the use of my legs and arms, or that little flower that starts to sprout in the snow. To me that means that there is hope. I could go on but hopefully you will get the idea...

i do in comparison to materialistic human beings or 2 bob snobs, all they're drawn to is impressing others, i could plenty fairly be the guy i'm and stay the way of lifestyles I do now, money and superb issues in undemanding terms final for the preliminary buzz.
