Best bet would read more ,look more in the stores(window shop) and lisen to people.Image consultants are ok but its up to you .Watch the move hitch and you will see .....

no , im not joking , whenever my friends want fashion advice they do come to me and i find them a solution that suits their personality,body type and colours.. x
obviously you cant ask me.... BUT you must know someone that you admire their style... not like lindsay lohan thugh, someone you know.. and you can ask them for advice. i personally dont need one but if i was in a state i would get one. its not a waste of money if someone is real depressed about their style. if theres no otha solution getting an image consultant will boost your self esteem and build your confidence.... gud luck xxx

My friend did this in Selfridges London and they chose a long dress with flowing bright colours and in your face gold detail. She was horrified! and said she was not a member of an Arabic royal family (no offence - just an inappropriate choice) but a medical consultant.
Be careful. You need someone who listens!

I did but only for special occassion like dinner and dances. NOt bad but sometimes really cost a lot.

i haven't personally, but i went with my cousin once in debenhams. it was a load of crap. NOTHING she picked out was suitable/flattering/or colours to suit her.
i could've done a better job myself, but you did get free biscuits and get to try on make-up...........................
