I do donate to animal charities, but although WSPA, the RSPCA and WWF do good work - I am not sure how much is wasted on circulars and administration, or how much of it goes towards the causes. I have been a member of several organisations in the past and got no end of mail and phone calls asking for more.

I give to local animal rescue centres and charities.

It does sound like animal cruelty in an exceedingly diffused type- she might desire to no longer recognize she is being merciless that's the project. you may desire to acquire the government and voice your concerns, no count number what different subject concerns are there, the welfare of the animals come first. you will possibly be nameless so do no longer problem. If no longer something variations you will possibly desire to offer to stroll the canines for her- then a minimum of you're assisting them in some way yet you do no longer prefer to place too plenty duty on your shoulders. wish this helped

I'm not saying treat animals bad but there are a lot more charities i would rather send money to (which i do) i gave £20 to the poppy appeal last week as i feel strongly about people who gave there lives for freedom so people like you and me can even do what we are doing now and discussing things freely.... so i wont be giving money to that charity... but good luck anyway

ALL of our local humane societies need help. We, in USA, murdered over 4 MILLION dogs last year...no, not rabid dogs, or bad dogs, but dogs that couldn't help being born to a society that didn't want them..Your local shelter can support more of these dogs, and educate in more classrooms, if they have more resources to work with..Until we can make all shelters no-kill (or low-kill) then none of us are behaving humanely!

In our town, it is cats that are the most neglected. there are over 120 of them in the shelter, and countless strays in the streets..2 litters of unloved kittens were dumped out on the jetty across the street from me..can you believe? 10 five week old kittens, living off seagull poop!

I support the North Shore Animal League, as they are as the pet Red Cross in our country, and do MUCH good towards the welfare of animals..

Thanks for the headup and reminder!

Actually I give my money to the Durrell Preservation Trust in Jersey. They save animals from extinction such as Pink pigeons and gorillas and orangutans

I already support a number of different charities. I've adopted a dog, a dolphin, a gorilla and tiger and before you ask I support human charities too!

We support our local humane society with a monthly donation. I wish it could be more but it's a starting point.
