Physics question on theory of relativity?

someone is traveling at the
speed of 10 mph when a car passes them. (from their
reference)they estimate that the car is traveling
45mph towards them and away. how fast is the car
moving from a rest point of view on the ground.

the speeds are too small, so classical mechanics should be fine:

the speed of the car is 45-10 = 35mph
