No, not really. I have walked away from two husbands, because they made it easy to do so. How else could I get out of a bad situation ? I'm glad that they were not just pathetic, but went straight to rabid dog, or I might yet still be there pandering to them.

No. That kind of makes it easier on me, and I can walk away with a clear conscience because it was a decision I made. I would rather be the one to walk away than be the one walked out on.

Nope. If I'm getting nothing but problems out of someone I'm not above picking up my **** and leaving. Your friends and lovers are supposed to be a benefit to your life not pull it down.

Life is too short to let people make you miserable and the only thing persisting to try and change a neurotic usually accomplishes is making you one yourself. Whatever issues they've got let them sort it out themselves. If later in life they have their problems in check and can be a nice addition to your life they can come back but if all you're gonna get is nothing but drama out of them let them go and move on.

If they're users or psychic vampires leave them and don't look back. Nothing good is gonna come out of that. There's a reason psychologists are paid big bucks to deal with loony tunes.

Ya.
but I think it's even worse when they hold on so tight you feel like your gonna die or they are but you're killing each other either way, and the guilt is suffocating..

I'm Sorry, I probably shouldn't answer this question. I think were on opposite ends of the spectrum @ this moment.

We all have our own brand of pain.

I'm Sorry! Love and Peace to You!! For Real!!

It would take an awful lot for me to walk away from someone I cared about. IF I walk away, it would be cause I didn't have any other choice.

It's a good thing we're not friends.

I let people walk often because I feel almost unworthy of sorts to call them back. I rather appreciate their happiness from afar if in some way I felt that my presence in their life brought more heartache.
