I put a 6 inch leaf (cutting off the spines only) in a blender and mixed it with about 6 oz of jasmine tea (because that's what I had lying around). As expected, it was bitter.

Edible Uses
Edible Parts: Leaves; Seed.

Leaves - cooked. Very bitter, they are an emergency food that is only used when all else fails. A gel in the leaves is sometimes used as an ingredient of commercial jellies. Seed- An emergency food used when all else failed.

Medicinal Uses
Cancer; Emmenagogue; Emollient; Laxative; Miscellany; Purgative; Skin; Stimulant; Stomachic; Tonic; Vermifuge; Vulnerary.

Aloe vera (usually the bitter aloes) is also taken internally in the treatment of chronic constipation, poor appetite, digestive problems etc. It should not be given to pregnant women or people with haemorrhoids or irritable bowel syndrome. The plant is strongly purgative so great care should be taken over the dosage.

So to answer to your question: No you are not going to die!

And that's also My Best Answer!

I would not think you will die considering aloe vera juice is readily available at health food and grocery stores. Now granted most people do not ingest it the way you did but all in all even the packaged aloe vera juice you buy is bitter. So in my opinion no I don't believe you will die from it as a result of poisoning.

Well You won't die so Easily! As the foods you get are all edible so i think it will be fine! But it just that you will maybe get a stomachache or feel quite painful in your body. Nest time, before doing anything do go confirm about the thing before doing it or else you won't know what will happen! So, next time be careful at doin things!

if they sell it in gallon jugs in health food stores why in the world would you think it will kill you, stupid. if you drink the stuff from the store they might remove some of the bitterness, however i doubt it does anyone any real good,
