Mexicans are overall a very warm culture (and generous, despite the extreme amount of poverty there). Awesome food, too. ;-)

It's called the Dia de la Muertos- Day of the Dead. It's a holiday for families to remember the love ones that have passed on. The chinese have a similar holiday called "Ching Ming". I've been to the border towns in Mexico. It's okay for the less than one day tour. (I had a bad experience; involved crooked cops) Don't go alone of course. I think Mexican culture and people are great like everyone else. They play a key role in the Californian economy.

106 million mexicans and counting, only about 6 millon live in the US legally and illegally. The other Mexicans in US are their descendants. The CIA says Mexico is the 12th largest economy in the world. Yet Mexico still has alot of poverty. What would it be if Mexico is not a major trade partner of the US. No other countries are interested in US goods, specially the Europeans. Just like others they can be nice or bad.

The mexican people and culture are interesting. One day I would like to travel to Mexico and learn more about that country. I also like my people and culture, and I don't want it changed. Mexicans are free to come here any time and visit our country to learn more about it. Just don't stay and try to change it. That would be disrespectful.

Some good, some bad. Certain characteristics are admirable, others not. Like every nationality I suppose.

I'm not sure. If Mexico is so great, why is everybody trying to get out?
