It's hardly even broken in.
If well-cared for, you should expect 150K to 250K miles.

Do's:
-change oil and oil filter religiously.
-change air filter every 12-24 months (depending on how much airborne dirt is in your area)
-flush radiator and replace coolant every 50K miles. check radiator, heater hoses and thermostat and replace them all at no more than 100K miles. possibly even the water pump. check the accessory drive belts for wear and replace any that are worn.
-replace brakes when worn down to limit or when indicator light comes on. inspect rear wheel emergency brakes. Flush and replace brake fluid at every brake service.
-check tire pressure at every gas fillup. replace tires before they reach the wear bar limit.
-every 3 months, check all fluid levels and top-off.
-replace windshield wipers every 12-24 months depending on how much precipitation you have and how hot the summers are.
- if you have an auto transmission, you might want to flush and refill the trans fluid every 100K miles (even though BMW says its a lifetime fluid.)
- replace spark plugs every 75-100K miles.

Don'ts
- don't drive aggressively, start or brake hard unless you like to throw money away on gas, tires and brakes.
- don't ride the clutch, or depress and hold it down at stoplights. Put the trans in neutral and you will give your clutch & throw-out bearing a long, happy life.

Check the BMW Inspection Service 1 and 2 checklists for all the things you should do. Most of them you can do yourself.

I have a BMW 525i with just over 90k on it, and it runs great, no problems, very little upkeep.. Just keep the oil changes and routine main. going, and it will treat you great. Engine Flushes are really good for the system too!

Enjoy your BMW...

Beemers sell as used cars even after they've done 12 years and 150,000 miles. Yes you can and probably should keep these extremely refined vehicles as long as you want to
