Why do you think directors always have the bad people on the Left side of the screen and the heroes on the right? when do u think it started?Do you think it has to do with west and east cultures?

The left has been associated with evil for quite some time, the word Sinister comes from the latin word sinestre which means left. It came from the observation that most people are right handed and lefties are very rare so there must be something wrong with them, it gradually evolved that they must be evil! This is a belief that carries over to today.

...maybe because we read left to right and therefore we start by looking at the L (bad guys) and move to the R (good guys) we are left with a good feeling?
I never really noticed that, but I will look for it now!
