this young man has a great job and has his own place, so he doesn't rely on his parents and he's of legal age.

Why are some of you people acting like it's sick. When 18 is a legal age.

Some "grown" men act like little boys. This 18 year old is mature for his age.

We do not look weird being together in public. I look very young for my age. Thank you very much.

You know what i say do what you do because if it was the other way and you were a man at 28 dating a girl whose 18 asking this question it wouldn't have not been a problem for some of these people. I'd also like to add that if it is not all that serious than sew you wild oats and use him like some men or should i say BOYS do a lot of this women!!!!!

Depends on the maturity level on either side. Is he wise for his years? Is she kinda youngish? Interesting how you refer to her as a 28 year old WOMAN...Yet you refer to him as an 18 year old BOY.. If he is 18 he is a man...by law anyway.... Some May/December relationships work. Look at Ashton Kutcher/Demi Moore or Susan Sarandon/Tim Robbins.....Or Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell, all those women are involved in very monogamous long term relationships with much younger men. It makes less difference if the guy is a tad older, than 18...I don't know many 18 year old guys who know enough about the world to carry on an intelligent conversation with a woman of almost 30, although I guess they are out there....

yes it most certainly is ok for a 28 year old woman to date an 18 year old man.
he's an adult, ok a young adult, but he can vote, drink (both are ok in Oz at 18) and go to war, so why can't he choose the woman he wants to date.
I think it's fine, so long as both of you realise that you are at different stages in your lives and this may cause some problems. the best thing is to be completely honest with each other and don't play games.
besides what's age got to do with love? men go out with younger women all the time, so good on you for finding someone you care for who happens to be younger.
i think sexually you're both around your peak, so that'll be loads of fun too.
enjoy i say and don't worry about the detractors, coz they're just jealous ;-]

Nothing wrong with it. Age is just a number. Life experiences and souls are what defines a person's age, not the number after a certain age. He's legal, so what's the problem? The people with the problem are usually the jealous or insecure ones.

Age ain't nothing but a number. That is just another and more broader end of the dating spectrum. We are limited as far as men our own age, and what is wrong with it as long as it is legal. You go girl. I'm 20 yrs older than my husband and very happy.

i don't really see a problem with it...my fiancee and started dating when i was 16 he was 24 (it is legal in my state to date someone with that much of an age difference.) I'm now 19 and he'll be 28 in a couple of months. i would approve it.

Right now people will be shocked and dismayed in 30 years they will say oh well he is 48 and you are 58. I don't think peo[ple really care anymore. As long as the guy is legal, single, and in his right mind. My father married someone 15 years older then he was they were married 45 years...

i know people that are married and they have this age difference and it doesn`t matter.. if you decide that after the sex is gone you can still talk to him and listen to what he has to say and you don`t get bored by that then it`s ok .. and by the way ... r u happy? cause if you are .. why do you care about other people`s opinions?? live you own life without caring about the others
take care

No, it's icky. She is obviously not a mature woman since she is doing this. It's taking advantage, and could damage the "boy" for a long time. Simply since you refer to him as a boy and not a man, shows how unhealthy this relationship is. Doesn't matter if you look younger, or if he looks older - that's not the point.

If it's legal and it's akay with YOU, then it's okay. Unfortunately, you will have to deal with the slings and arrows of opinionated people that don't understand it. If he's worth it and your relationship is working for you the way you like, then to hell with the rest of the world. Have at him and go nuts.
