When will the next major terror attack happen in the USA ?

Historically, foreign terrorist attacks on US targets occur every 7-9 years, going back to the early 1970s.

So, according to that schedule, the next major terrorist attack on US soil would occur around 2008-2010.

Here's my theory - simply based on an educated guess.

I believe Iran already has some sort of WMD (nuclear, biological, chemical - don't know which). Iran will wait until either the U.S. or more likely, Israel, attacks their nuclear facilities (probably before summer 2007) and then will retaliate here in the U.S. with that WMD. I believe that is why Iran is trying to provoke an attack with all of their recent threats and rhetoric - so they technically won't throw the first punch but use the destruction of their facilities as a cover.

Just a thought.....

The terrorist's want republicans to control our government, whether or not the right wing extremist's within our government are behind the attacks is debatable, but either way I think we will be attacked just before the next elections to discredit the democratic party and give control back to the republican extremist's, then we will see America fall apart, we will become a police state and freedom of speech will no longer exist within a few years after that (under the guise that it's unpatriotic to speak against the government).
