The answer to your question is in the question itself. All you have to do is look at it from a grammatical standpoint.

Here is your sentence grammatically written:
If you try to fail, and (you) succeed, which have you done?
The subject and verb of the middle clause says "you succeed". It doesn't really matter at what you have succeeded. If you set out to accomplish something and then accomplish it, you have succeeded.

If you try to fail and then succeed in failing, then you've attained your goal of failing.
If you try to fail and succeed however, you have failed as you succeeded instead of failing.
Clear?!!

Q: If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?
A: You may have either succeeded to succeed, and failed to fail, or you may have succeeded to fail, and failed to succeed.

(Or: You could either say that you have failed in failing to succeed, and that you have failed in succeeding to fail, and that you have succeeded in succeeding to succeed, thus you have succeeded, or you could say that you have succeeded in succeeding to fail, and that you have succeeded in failing to succeed, and that you have failed in failing to fail, thus you have failed.)(Any way you say it, it still makes perfect sense, no matter what you were trying to do.)
