How would you answer him? Give it some thought. I intend to do that very soon & I'm damn nervous about it.

I'm single as of right now, but when my ex-husband proposed to me, I have to admit it was great. We were in the drive way of our house and in the car. He told me that he couldn't wait until dinner tonight and said, I've never been more sure of anything in this whole world, I love you, will you marry me? I said, I cant believe . . . YES! Then we kissed each other for the longest time. It may have ended badly, but that has to be at the top of my most romantic situation in my life.

Good luck!

Well if he would do that, I would tell him that he would have to promise me that he would NEVER cheat on me again, he would have to learn how to be affectionate with me starting NOW, he would have to learn how to treat me like I was the best thing that has ever happened to him. He would have to learn how to open his mouth and talk to me and be honest about everything. He would have to learn to have respect for me. He would also have to learn what the word love means and learn how to say "I love you". He would have to earn my trust back in him.

If he could do all this and MEAN it, I would say yes I will marry you, ready to go get married!!!

Well you asked and that is what I would say to him if he proposed to me right this minute.

I would say GOD YES.
Again....

Ok. So he never actually got down on one knee. He would always ask me to marry him though. Everytime I would say yes.

Don't worry! If you two have talked about marriage and you pretty much know what she's going to say, then everything will be just fine and dandy. Don't be nervous. : } I wish you two the best!!!

If you accept the proposal, make sure your boyfriend: 1) has a job 2) isn't phsycially or emotionally attached to his ex's 3) can support you

In your case....I would say, as long as you know she loves you
and you both get along, I don't see why you would be nervous?
I think sometimes peoples expectations are way to high....relax.
what will be be will be. You can't make someone love you so why
sweat it ? She loves you, I'm sure. Be happy. Be happy together.
Now,...In my case...if my b/f asked, I'd say ***** NO. He's to much of a jerk. Once upon a time, I wanted that so much, and
now I'm really glad I don't want to . LOL

That sounds great for you to do that with your G/F. For me I would turn my b/f down. He is not ready to marry. I been married to many times, and he was married to someone that he's not over.
