Since you got the first 2 covered, why don't you check out local organizations that will be serving dinner. You could go and possibly make a few new friends. Before you head out, though, you could take in the Macy's Day Parade on tv which is always good! If those don't work for you, rent some great movies and make a day of the tv. If you were closer, I'd invite you for dinner. Happy Thanksgiving!

Volunteer at a nursing home for the day. I used to cook at a nursing home and alot of those folks don't have family that comes to have dinner with them. Have dinner with them, join in the program for the day (whatever festivities, sing-along, etc. they have planned). Then you can go home and sleep and feel good about yourself. Who knows--you might make a friend and go back to visit again. I loved when they'd roll into the kitchen to let me know I cooked something just like their Mom did!! (or to let me know I had no idea what I was doing and they could teach me a thing or two!!)

Well Just All Alone, you don't have to be when there are so many places that need volunteers that day. And they would really enjoy your company and appreciate your help. So try giving a helping hand instead of giving yourself a hand job. Happy Thanksgiving!

How awful someone would suggest sleeping/masturbation to fill up your time with, dear......as a mentor/psychic counselor....I would suggest you find a good book, some good ol' holiday movies to watch, maybe....maybe go out for a good walk, reflect on the past year....make some new year's resolutions.....that sort of stuff.....whatever you do, do it with wisdom, care and most of all have fun....and that don't have to include masturbating!....Blessed be!.

I too will be joining you in the "alone" thing. One of my co-workers has decided to volunteer somewhere... I plan on getting some ben and jerry's, and a nice book until everyone's "family thing' is over.. after that we're all meeting up to do something fun to forget about the stress of a day with family :P

I like the volunteer idea~ Make thanksgiving about giving back.
or.... go to your favorite diner or restraunt, maybe being with people you see often will make you feel like you are with family~
One guy here at yahoo said his family is going to
The Cracker Barell... That would be a VERY pleasant place to go if you are near one.

If your over 21 did you know that the bars and dance hall places normally are full of single lonely people, and they can be fun to be with. I know because I used to like going to the bars and always went to the family thing late.
