Day 1, hop on one of the city tours, easily arranged at the hotel's front desk. Best bet to see the major sights within the day. If there's anything that interests you, go back there on your own time.
- visit these places for a taste of the different cultures (Chinatown, Serangoon Little India).
- travel by public transportation, including buses and the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit). They are economical and efficient and the best way to be among the lovely people here.
- eat at the 'food courts', found in most shopping centers and the residential areas. Great selection of food from the various cultures/races and at very affordable prices. This and the item above are great ways to mingle with the local population and for a better understanding of how they live.
- Orchard Road, Marina Square for shopping.
- Boat Quay/Clarke Quay for dining and entertainment.
- Others must see include Zoological Gardens and Night Safari (highly recommended, world class), Sentosa.
Guess that's enough for 5-days? Enjoy :-)

Adding to someone who had given your some places of interest, you may wish to include Haw Par Villa, Chinatown, Changi Village, Singapore Science Centre, Botanic Gardens, and of course also Sentosa Island. We do not have a Sentoa Island in Singapore.
You should also sample some of the local delicacies. They are very tasty.

pass to Malaysia 2007 is in simple terms yet another pass to Malaysia marketing campaign - it particularly is virtually non-end i could say! the element is actual events to advise pass to Malaysia 2007. i could say Malaysia has all of the splendid factors of interest yet have by no ability been waiting to communicate the splendid messages and branding. Singapore's branding is a non-end attempt via the government in positioning itself. the reality in existence is that thought has a tendency to play an significant function in this international, eventhough the reality is distinctive. Malaysia has many stuff to furnish yet areas of the tourism fee-chain continuously create significant themes for the country. problems with airport cabs, touts, rogue city cabs and over-charging excursions - those are the nagging themes vacationer hates! the administrative.needs to place actual political will to do away with those themes if attracting foreigners is unquestionably the interest. I continuously could negotiate for a trip from KLCC to my hotel in Bukit Bintang for the duration of employer journeys - and is a relentless worry. What extra for a vacationer!
