I don't think I understand what you mean by Advantages!!!???`There are no advantages as matter of fact ther are probably more hard ships on the outside of the relationship than in a same race relationship! My fiance is white and I'm black. We get so much grief from people we know and strangers. When the women in my family first met him and the only question they asked was,"You couldn't find yourself a black man?" No one asked what he does for a living, if i was happy, or anything about our relationship and at this time I had been livivng with him for 6 months. People are sick and can't stand to see people of different races happy together. So as for your question, If you ask my step-sister the only advantage of my relationship is that My daughter is gorgeous, she has Aqua-Marine color eyes and beautiful curly light brown hair that already hits the middle of her back and shes only 1 yr old. Alot of racist people and people who have some sort of resentment in themselves say things like that and ask questions in such a way. If you're going to get married, even date seriously, you should know not to date just becasue of the color of someones skin. That's just stupid and something you should've learned when you were a child!!!

my husband is white, and im black, and the relationship is wonderful. race has never been an issue for us. as a matter of fact i dont realize his race. unless im reminded. i love him cause he makes me feel good, and vice versa. and like that guy said, that answered you, the divorce rate is extremely lower, maybe cause were happier. i believe that very much. so the advantage is a higher probability that the couple will be together forever. smile.

I am in an interracial marriage and there are definately advantages.
1) you become more open minded about each other's cultures and other cultures in general.
2) You make beautiful kids! (other people have often commented that my child is soo cute, beautiful, handsome....)
3) less divorce rates for interracial couples (I don't know why, check the stats if you don't believe me)

You'd have very beautiful babies (kids from biracial backgrounds usually have the best features of both races) and you'd get to experience another culture up close and personal.
it's a unique experience, and you'll be a better person for it.

many things!!!!!!!!! open mindedness, blending of two different families learning of each others similarities and that race is not the issue, beautiful babies (no where i go with my son is he not commented about how handsome he is!), and happier people! in my case anyways. speaking from experience i am boring old white (well...french & german believe it or not) and my husband is puerto rican and ecuadorian (he is HOT...so yummy! yes, we will probably embarass our son when he is older, sorry).

You don't have to worry about everything you do or say, because someone might twist it into you being racist.
