I just bought a beautiful, and relativly modest corset, and i want to wear it about, but i don't want to look like a dominatrix. is it ever "ok" to wear a corset in public, if you dress it down (like with a jean skirt, or with a dress shirt, not with something like hooker boots or fishnets)?

Yes it is, the key is to be classy, and actually the pin-up look is very hot right now.
Depending on what type of corset you have will determine how it should be worn. I strongly suggest you wear vintage RHT stockings with open high heels along with the corset,
To tone it down wear a jacket or open blouse, you only want let people know you have it on via "tease" don't show the whole corset.

It really depends on how you wear and match with your other clothings. But I think a corset with a pair of tight jeans and wear with a high boots will look extremely nice. Try it and let me know!

If you've got the body to pull it off, wear whatever the f*ck you want. It's called individualism. It's not like a cop is going to arrest you for wearing a corset. And why not be a dominatrix? *winks*

It really does'nt matter what anybody else thinks. If your comfortable with it,go 4 it. Unless your in a perfesional environment or on a first date or something (he might get the wrong impression. I would never wear one ...
but you know being a 25 year old straight guy in a small town can you really blame me?

corsets are really cute its totally fine to wear them in public if youve got the body go ahead and work it lol

i think a corset would look really good with a a denim black or blue vest over it depending on whether it's cream or light pink coloured.

Now that's too revealing. Kids are everywhere and even some perverts. I don't think it's appropriate at all! She must want some serious attention. The only situation where you wear a sports bra is the gym, other than that, I'd suggest not.
