is it bad to flush that absorbant kitchen paper towel down the toilet? i was cleaning my bathroom with it and it blocked the toilet....

There is a reason it is called Toilet Paper. Toilet paper is all you should ever use and with a septic tank you need to choose the type of toilet paper that disolves easiest. Toilets can clog from the tissue you use to blow your nose. People often think anything can go down the toilet but it should be food matter that has been broken down by the human body. They don't work as garbage cans or toy boxes.
All other paper products should go in the trash.
Don't feel bad, many people make this mistake and only a plumbing bill gives them the knowledge to watch what they put in & flush.

Yes, it's bad. Just throw it in the trash can or wherever you toss your used sanitary napkins. Or use a little plain toilet paper to swipe where you are cleaning. Flush after each little bit, because too much toilet paper will block your toilet, too.

one towel should not be a problem although 2 or 3 is. I wouldn't make a habit out of it unless you enjoy spending quality time with your toilet.

paper towels do not disintegrate as well as toilet paper
unless you have something really greasy to clean ? i do not use paper towel , i use old t-shirt for all my cleanings even mirrors ,television etc. and you can wash them .and reuse them .it does shine .........no traces .........
papers towels are for skillets and old pots .
is your toilet cleared now ?
keep a small trash can near you toilet in order to remember to trow harder materiel such as paper towel ))

Yes it is very bad to do, I suggest you get a liquid plumber that dissolve the paper towel.
