i've been a huge neil young fan for many years. he does a lot of charity work without recognition. and he does a lot for native americans too. many years ago when i was a teenager, i lived in a very rural native survivalist camp in southern cali. he used to come stay there for a week or 2 at a time. he's known for being a bit eccentric, but who isn't, in their own way? he has a wicked sense of humor too.

Hey, Hey, My, My, Out of the Blue And Into The Black. They Give You This But You Pay For That. Old Man Look At My Life, I'm Alot Like You Were. I to am a huge Neil Young fan. All the way back to Crosby, Stills, Taylor, Nash and Young. Absolutely nothing wrong in standing up for what you believe in. That includes Neil and yourself.

Take his music for what it is. You shouldn't have to like his music because you agree with his politics. Anyway some of his songs aren't necessarily political, like Heart of Gold. Right?

I haven't heard much of his political stuff. I love him as a musician. His song 'THe needle and the damage done" is such a great anti-drug song though.
