Funny actually.. I was watching Montel just the other day, starring Sylvia Brown.... i dont normally watch shows like this.. but it happend to be on.. Someone from the audience asked her that very question. As she stated, she had been asked that same question several times. She said that she< can Not >predict her own future, or else she would not have married that man she did, and she would be winning the lotto all the time.

Well if it resulted in me losing my psychic powers overnight, I'd make sure I won the next ten lotteries in a row, just to be on the safe side. I'd put a shitload of other bets on too. It seems like a worthwhile compromise. So what if it's against the rules and your psychic ability suddenly gets magicked away? I'd rather do that than live in a tent like a gypsy for the rest of my life and die without a penny. In answer to your question - it makes you wonder, doesn't it? Maybe anyone who breaks the rules of the psychic society gets sent to psychic hell for eternity. Or maybe it's all just a big steaming pile of bs.

Heisenberg's uncertainty principle might indicate that the more accurately you can predict the outcome of a lottery, the less sure you are of where or when the number comes up?

It would be funny to see a psychic win the lottery though, their business would go *way* up.

Psychics don't exist. It would be nice, but they dont exist. People that claim they are, are actually really good at reading the reactions of others.

We tend to skip the lottery and hang around casinos instead. For real. It just takes a 1% edge to live mighty nice. : )
