you can only found the registered soft wear icons in add remove programs. I think you have lots of unregistered programs in your computer that may be you want to delete from your computer, do the following procedure to remove the unwanted programmes from your computer.
Option no 1- go to the start menu and programs then you find the icons which you want to remove from the PC go there there you got option for un-install the soft wear click and un-install the thing,
Option No.2- Open my computer, then C drive, then programme files when it opends you find the all software list in your PC open the folder which you want to delete from the PC and you got one un-install option click on it and remove the soft wear.......

When you are trying to delete programs from your add/remove programs and they wont delete because they support other programs ... you will see a link that says " click here for more information" click on that and that will help you find the program that it supports.

The link is in the same window pane right below the add/remove button

lol..first of all...deleting windows updates WILL NOT HARM at all...its just a scare because microsoft just want money so they tell consumers to install latest updates...

about the other programs...u can find out wat program is being used by another by

start..run..msconfig..and go to the tab that says start up...anything that says programs files its wats being used..

You might want to check the recycle bin to see if they are deleted and removed. Hope this helps.
