I am not really into chain restaurants either. Although I have eaten at Chilli's, Cheesecake Factory and Olive Garden. The food at Carabba's, Texas Steakhouse and Macaroni Grill is good too. I like local chinese restaurants - my absolute favorite is called Mandarin - followed close by a restaurant called Bamboo's. My absolute favorite Italian is a local restaurant called Luigi's. Their food is to die for - relatively cheap and huge helpings.
I work at a bar that has a restaurant - and I swear our guy has THE BEST food anywhere. I usually eat there on Friday nights. He has a prime rib special that can't be beat by anyone.
For seafood I usually go to a place at the beach about a half hour away from me called Brown's. Family owned business - sit down restaurant and the food is amazing. They are also open year-round. (I am from New England)

I enjoy Buca di Beppo but I only go there with a large bunch of people. They serve so much food. Cheesecake Factory is good but pricy for what you get.
I don't care for Olive Garden and PF Changs is pricy and I can find much better Chinese food elsewhere.
Chilis is ok and Baker's Square is so so. I never ate at Chevy's.

LOVE Cheesecake Factory. Even with higher prices than other places I like, I can go there every weekend. I love their HUGE variety of food. They have something for whatever mood I'm in & the portions are gigantic. I also like Chilli's but only for the Burgers & cheese dip!

I like Olive Gardens out of that list. Italian is my favorite... but it's not really my favorite so far-- I haven't gone to really exceptional restaurants yet. Budget, you know? I love the ambience in Buca... it's great to go with friends and have bdays at. The food there is alright, though.

Olive Garden is my favorite. It is not so much the food as it is the salad and bread stick. I can make a meal on just that. The food is good, but a little too expensive.

None of the places you listed! Chains are horrible! Especially Olive Garden. Bleh.
OK, well, I like Buca. I have to admit that.
My favorite place is called Mezzodi's. It's a beautiful Italian-American grill in Des Moines, Iowa. Good god is it fantastic.
Try more local fare. It doesn't get boring like those other places do.

Pf Changs but in my city the waiters are all really snobby and not nice so it is a chore to go there but I love the food.

That's hard question. Never been to some of them but Chili's got baby back ribs. Nothing can compete with that.
