America IS it's constitution. It IS it's laws. GWB's military commisions act has the ability to strip a citizen their citizenship by labelling them as enemy combatants. This simply means someone in power has accused you of being a treat to the country. Now as an enemy combatant you have NO RIGHT's. That's right into a secret prison and THAT'S IT FOR YOU. You were born an American and without a trial are now spending the rest of your days stripped of freedoms. Passing this law is treason to the country.

NO!!! By definition a traitor is a person who commits treason against his or her country. Treason is the offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which one owes allegiance, either by making war against the state or by materially supporting its enemies.

That is a long answer to a yes or no question, but the question merits the answer as it appears you don't know what a traitor is. You may not agree with all of President Bush's policies in the Iraq war, but he has done nothing that merits being called a traitor.

No but I have no clue where you get that definition. Lynne Stewart is a traitor, she assisted someone determined to attack, harm and if possible destroy our country. She got off easy because of prior "good works" according to the lenient (Clinton appointed) judge. Benedict Arnold saved our butts at Saratoga and swayed other battles more than once in the favor of a fledgling United States, Saratoga was pivotal as this convinced the French to join us, and their fleet bottling the British Fleet up at Yorktown ended the war. Yet Arnold would have been hanged and rightly so. I feel the same with these "enlightened" idiots who passed nuclear secrets to the USSR and thus ensuring a "cold war" that nearly ended in nuclear disaster more than once, or Americans who become terrorists in foreign armies today. Bush has failed to uphold his sworn duties, such as enforcing the immigration law, and if he followed Calvin Coolidge into office, spectacular for doing nothing, it would be a marked contrast. but he followed Clinton. Was saving Bosnians once the Serbs got the upper hand, or going into Mogadishu without tanks, and bragging about it until "Blackhawk Down", mothballing all the civil defense shelters and their supplies for a nuclear event, allowing hostile nations to view our most sensitive installations and technologies, or simply saying that we would no longer deal with "disreputable" people that happen to be the best informants, that blinded our intelligence network because now we had spy satellites, not worse than anything Bush has done? You would have to show that Bush willfully and deliberately conspired with an enemy of the United States against us and our intrests. Actions prove more than words. Kyoto was the responsibility of Congress, not the President, it was called a "treaty" until this was pointed out and it then became an "accord" in US media. I don't have access to all the info. that Bush does, but when it comes to advisors, I don't think he has much advantage over us, just dogged faith that he is right. Bush forgot you don't make battles fit the plans, it shouldn't have taken losing control of Congress to remind him. So I don't agree he is a traitor, if the left want to call him names they can say whatever makes them feel good, but in defintion, no, he has not betrayed us even if negligent in his duties on some issues according to our own views.

Coragryph is close....however the Bush family has very close ties with Osama Bin Laden's family. Bush Sr. plays golf with Osama's Dad and I hear the two families will be spending this Christmas together. The war on terrorism is bogus. Bush orchestrated the terror attacks of 911 so he could use it as a pretex for military intervention in Iraq. Watch the "Loose Change" video and check out some of these sites....

Good question...keep up the good work.

Yes. He thinks it's OK to squander lives in Iraq for his personal war games.
He has no regard for the constitution even though when he took the oath of office he swore to uphold it.
He has no problem in selling out America to his friends so that they can make more money at the expense of the rest of the country.

Please note I don't hate him because he is a republican. I admire many republicans and democrats. Anyone who hates someone because of his poltical party is not only uniformed, but quite lacking in any intelligent thought process.

No. He is not the sharpest "tool in the shed" but he is a patriot. He has made his share of mistakes. Heinlein once said, "But goodness alone is never enough. A hard cold wisdom is required, too, for goodness to accomplish good. Goodness without wisdom invariably accomplishes evil."

Gee, he pays no attention to the laws of this country, pays no attention to the will of the people in this country, wipes his anus with the constitution and flips his middle finger to the world.

I'll go with yes on this one.
