1. He involved us in a disastrous war based on lies. Thousands of young men are dead and maimed, fighting a war on terrorism when the terrorists are not in Iraq. There were no WMDs, either, and far from making life better for Iraqis, uncounted thousands of them are dead.

2. He increased the political polarization in the U.S. The truth is, right and left are both still American, and when push comes to shove, we would give our lives to protect each other. The rhetoric and propaganda makes us forget this, but it is still true.

3. We had a huge amount of international goodwill following 9/11. They were singing our national anthem in every city in Europe. Now the world is repelled by our foreign policy. They think we have lost our minds.

Worst is subjective. I'll let other people focus on morality, and I'll addess just the legal crimes he's committed.

Violation of 18 USC 2511, for warrantless wiretaps in violation of FISA (50 USC 180x). Publicly admitted; confirmed by federal courts.

Violation of 18 USC 2441, for war crimes. Publicly admitted, and confirmed by the US Supreme Court.

Both of these are felonies, with hundreds or thousands of counts. Details below, for anyone who actually wants to read the laws.
