One of my friends told me that the new Zelda game is gonna be for the Gamecube also. I already know that its coming out for the wii but never heard anything about it coming out for the Gamecube. If anyone knows about it, is this true? And which one do you think i should get?

Yes, it's coming out for both the Wii and Gamecube, but there is a difference. Link in Wii is right-handed, and in GC, he's left-handed. Also, the world are supposed to be mirror images of each other.
Go with the Wii. More fun to swing the wii-mote like a sword.

They are going to release Zelda for the Wii first so it can be bought when the system is released. After a few weeks they are going to release it for the Game Cube. Maybe they are hoping that the Zelda die-hard's can't wait the few extra weeks to play it so they will buy the system right away and not wait. Whichever you get, it looks like the game was worth the wait after numerous re-release dates. It looks AWESOME!!! Have fun playing!!!
