I've had 2 c-sections. The first was the worst, but I don't think I was in that much pain after 8 weeks --still a little sore. If you are in so much pain that you have trouble walking our holding your baby, a call to your doc might not be a bad idea. Just give them a call and ask -- a phone call is free and only takes a second. It will probably put your mind at ease and allow you to enjoy your baby more.

Congrats

in the starting up, Congrats on your new toddler!! second, I had a c-area 2 a million/2 years in the past and that i bear in mind it taking extremely a lengthy time period to get decrease back to "well-known". It does take a lengthy time period for the soreness to flow away. The longer you sit down, the further it hurts once you upward push up and flow. Your muscle tissues are purely getting used to operating mutually again. appears like what you experience is well-known, although. restore time relies upon on the guy. If that is extremely undesirable soreness, it really is not well-known. then you could call your record. yet when that is purely tremendous-duper sore...it really is well-known. communicate over with your record at your checkup, although, purely to be confident. also, make confident you do not run any fevers. which could be an illustration of an infection. i recognize it type of feels problematical today yet savour this time because they improve soooooooo speedy and then you bypass over it...

I had three and the first was the worst, but I don't think that it is normal for anyone to hurt so bad after 8 week that they can't walk or hold their baby.

You really should discuss this with your doctor asap. If you are still in that much pain, I would say that something might not have healed right.

Did you have your 6 week check up? Your doctor should have checked the incision site over then.

By 8 weeks, mine was healed nearly completely and I only had little twinges of pain, but the entire area was numb.

You may have developed some sort of infection, or possilby some stiches pulled out. I would call the dr. in the morning and have him look it over. You definately don't want to let an infection go untreated.

Congratulations on you wonderful son and good luck!

Somewhat normal. Did you have your six week check up? Is your scar infected, red or swollen? You should talk to your doctor, as you may have adhesions. I had a c-section 21 months ago and bled for 10 weeks and needed Advil for 6 weeks.

LMAO...you'll be sore for quite some time after a C-section. It takes at least a year for your body to fully recover from major abdominal surgery and that is exactaly what a C-section is.

I would think that after 2 months you would be pain free. I would definitely go see my doctor. And be persistent, don't let him/her give you the brush off. If nothing else being pain free will let you and Landon enjoy each other even more. Good luck.

My sister has had 5 cesarians, so I think i can help.. See whenever she did have them done she would not do heavy work for at least 2.5 to 3 months. If anything, check with your doctor to make sure none of the sutures allowed for a deep-tissue infection. If that's the case, do it ASAP!

I would call your ob, you should not be that sore to the point where you are unable to walk or hold your child. Please call your ob, let them know what is going on. It is normal for some little aches and pains b/c your abd muscles were and everything were streched and manuvered. But not as bad as your discribing
