My son is 6 months old and wears a 5-1/2 extra wide shoe. As you may realise, I am having difficulty in locating a soft shoe for him to wear while in his exersaucer, sitting in his walker, and to protect him from the cold, winter weather. Does anyone know where I can find a decent pair of soft - pre-walker - baby shoes that are both warm and comfortable for him?

All I found was at StrideRite a size 6 XW tennis shoe called Hot Shot. I thought my daughter had a large foot, but I feel your pain. I have to order all her shoes. I get them from Striderite.
If you really want something in Pre-Walker, you might have to get them made from a company that makes custom shoes.

Try Robeez shoes

They are stretchy and might work. Looks like your son would take the 12-18 month size.

When my son starting pulling himself up and walking I had got those soft sole pre-walk shoes from walmart also for about 10 bucks. I'm sure it won't make much difference if he has a pair of Stride Rite shoes or a cheaper version, I mean they grow out of them so quickly it's just not practical to be paying 50 bucks for a pair of shoes. My son is now a "walker" and I also did want a pair of stride rite shoes too, so I got a pair for like 13 bucks at Ross. I'm sure if you have stores around you like Ross, Marshalls, T.J. Maxx you can find great name brands that won't burn a hole in your pocket, those are my favorite stores, especially Ross and I'm a single mother.

My all research was at Stride ceremony a size six XW shoe referred to as Hot Shot. i believed my female offspring had an outsized foot, however I feel your tormented feeling. I even have to order all her shoes. I acquire them from Stride-rite.
If you in attempt of truth sore spot one thing in Pre-Walker, you would possibly got to acquire them made up of an organization that creates custom shoes.

Definitely the Robeez! Since they are soft leather they are perfect. My daughter wore them till she had been walking for about 6 months, they can even be worn outside as they are washable. Amazing product.

What's wrong with socks while he's in his walker or exersaucer? You American's wear your shoes in the house non-stop...TAKE YOUR DAMN SHOES OFF IN THE HOUSE!
All your kid needs is socks and shoes/boots for going OUTSIDE. He's too old for soft shoes anyways.
