I'm not actually connecting it to a pc, and nor do I want to watch tv on a computer. So please don't tell me get a tuner card or something like that. My old tv broke and I have nothing else to plug in my ps3 to or watch tv on.

You can get an external tuner for PC monitors. I know they used to make them for VGAs, not sure if they make them for DVI, but you can get VGA to DVI adapters easy enough...

without a tuner, your'e out of luck, its a different signal. Just go buy a new tv. The old crt style ones are very cheap now, or get one at a thrift store for 10 bucks.

Well you can get a dvi to hdmi cable to play your ps3 on it if your monitor has dvi ..
but since the monitor has no tuner, you cant watch tv.

Does your flat screen has any S-video input ? Does your flat screen takes only the Din15 ? If so, then no, it can not be done without a PC.

well the only way for it to work is if you have a video in .. on your computer unless you have a video card that has video in your out of luck
