Can you use a string ruler, starting from the base and extend to the tip, or does it have to be a straight ruler. What if you have curvature?

Why not forget about measurments and just enjoy what you have? Women are sooooo uninterested in size. Try developing what's between your ears instead of concentrating on what's between your legs. If you spend all your time with guys that talk about nothing but how long theirs is, then you need new friends.

Just use the tape measurement, or rope then measure it to the ruler.

If I may interject. I always thought that the proper way to measure "it", was to have someone else do it for you. Hence, does it matter what you use.

Your middle finger is the exact size. Just measure your middle finger (top of finger to wrist) with a ruler.
