Its kind of a strange thing to do...but I guess its possible as we very often dream about movies, situations, or people who are on our minds. I see nothing extraordinary in your friend's claim. Chances are, you are fully capable of doing it as well. Plus, you may have done if before and simply not remembered your dream. Afterall, we can have hundreds of dreams in a night. Its not equivalent to a psychic ability by any means.

Anyone can really, it's not magic, just not a guarantee that it will work every time. All you have to do is think about something alot; basically, the more that something is in your thoughts, the more chance you have it will enter your dreams too. For example, say you meet someone and develop a crush on them...what happens, well you start thinking about them more than anything else, and then they appear in your dreams at night. Same with anything else, not just a person. All you have to do is think about it all day. But who really wants to do that? You could get into a state of meditation before you sleep, just visualizing about whatever you hope to dream about. Simple, really, it ups the chances, just no guarantee that it will work every time. There's also a technique called Lucid Dreaming. I'm not sure how exactly that works, but I heard of it alot, it's about controlling your whole dream.

Yes your friend is right. I call it control dreaming. I had a dream that I carried on for two years. You may not believe it but it is part of mind control and there is so much more your friend can do with mind control and in time maybe she will. Ask her is she is also dreaming in color.

If you concentrate on something for the last twenty minutes or so right before you go to bed, you'll be able to dream about it. Furthermore, I have been in total control of them so whatever's supposed to happen never does happen. If you're excited, tunnel-visioning, absent-minded or worried about something that's another perfect example also.

I cant force myself to dream something in particualr... but to a point, i can dream of what i want to dream about. i just lay and think solely on what i want to dream about, almost put myself there like im reading a book. then as i start to fall asleep i think my concious just turns into subconcious and i keep the same thought process, turning into my dream. make sense? lol prolly not.

Lucid dreamers (me) can absolutely do that. It is in the ability to "control" your dreams and influence them.

I can do that, but I think a lot of it is dreaming while you are still half awake. Plus if something is on your mind ALOT you probably will dream about it anyway! :)

i belive she can but the dreams will not so clear. i had another exepienced that when i was dreaming, i knew i was in my dream and i started do anything i want in my dream. for example, when i was at the edge of a cliff, i knew it was in my dream and i purposely jump from it. i knew i could not die. it was not happen one time only, many times in many days. one time in my dream i told my sister that now we were in my dream and it was not real. so i showed her i cut my nail.
