No, never. It is theorized that Senator Hillary Clinton (of New York), wife of former President Bill Clinton, will run in the presidential election of 2008. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

The only ones we have seen have been from other countries. There has been no female US President, though several have campaigned for the job (at least in the primaries. None have ever won their party primary election.)

Officially your answer would be no. However there are many claims that have said Edith Wilson assumed Woodrow Wilson's duties as president During his second term when he became disabled by illness.

No. The closest we came was a run for Vice President by Geraldine Ferraro.

Her name was Emily and she belonged to which ever party she wanted and you did not question her about it, thank you. didn't work out too well. She would go to congress and get about whatever bills she wanted passed. But about once a month she would veto everything.

Where are you from?
No female president has been elected. This does not mean that a strong woman hasn't had some control, but as far as official, No.
I refer to Mrs. Roosevelt and Mrs. Clinton.

No. And if Hillary Clinton gets into office, I'll kill myself or move to England. I'm all for the Democrats, but seriously...just no.

They have been a number of woman presidents and world leaders, just not in the US – unless you count the current one.
