If you are playing in any officially sanctioned game, the answer is no. It would be considered an illegal piece of equipment. Softball gloves have larger webbing to field the larger sized softball.

Of course, if you're just playing for fun with some buddies, I don't see why not. But if you're in league competition you would not be allowed to use one.

Yes and no.. if you're just playing for fun or something, then a softball glove would be a decent substitute. However, if you're planning on playing in an official league of some sort, they'd probably frown on it because since the softball glove is bigger, it'd make it much easier to catch the baseball.

No. The depth of the webbing is illegal in MLB level. You can get away with at other levels. However if the opposing coach catches you its grounds for removal from the game.
