If you feel like you have to poop go to the hospital NOW! I was 7 cm dialated and was told to empty my bladder because I was getting an epidural, got on the toilet and said I had to poop, nurse screamed at me told me to get on the bed, and I was 10 cms dialated and 10 minutes and 3 pushes later my son was born..his heartbeat had dropped down past 40..

You need to go to the Hospital if you are having rectal preasure, that means your baby is about to make its enterance. I would bet you have a baby before Sunday morning! Sounds stupid but in my husbands family all the babies have been born on a full moon, my 2 children including. Look outside, lol

yeah if you have the urge to poop like you really really need to go you are having a baby very very soon. so if you feel like that go to the HOSPITAL you never know what can happen. It feels terrible that they tell you not to push when you really really need to so i would go to the hospital or if not just call the emergency room and ask a nurse from the labor and delivery. Good luck!
