My best friend and I have always been super close. She was cheating on her husband - a lot. It wasn't the cheating as much as the downward spiral that I saw that scared me. I was DESPERATE to "save" her. It didn't work and we didn't speak for an entire year. It was awful. I finally called her one day and her life had fallen apart. She was in the process of rebuilding. We have slowly rebuilt our relationship back to where it was. When you are true best friends nothing will completely destroy your relationship, nor should you allow it to. There is nothing more valuable then your best friend and nothing worth losing your best friend over. Not your fav gucci bag or your boyfriend. Both can be replaced. But best friends are scarce. Good luck.

Liking the same girl, having different values (stealing, lying, etc...), having different interest's, etc.... There are a million reasons for friendships to end. People mature and change on their own biological time clocks and its rarely in sync with your friends.

Let's see here.. I had a friend who moved away without telling me, for a whole year, then came back and expected me to welcome her with open arms after a year of not talking. Then she got a bf and decided to ignore me. They broke up and I was her best friend again. Then she got a new bf, and again, ignored me. I moved away and she couldn't bother to hang out with me when I visited. So she decides to marry the freak of a bf, and stalks me and calls me like 30 times a day for a week, and then sends me an email saying F**K you for ignoring her. Hmm... Yeah that ended it right there.

Money. Money ruins everything. Don't go into financial agreements with your friends. Don't borrow money. Don't lend money.
I watched my boyfriend and his best friend end their 15 year friendship over money. It's the saddest thing for me, and I really hope they can get past it. It's just money!

about September eleventh.... i argued that the attacks were totally wrong... and even against the teachings of Islam as the prophet Mohammad said to Muslims whenever they go to war... never kill and elderly, a woman, or a child.... or people peaceful in there homes.... she argued that at these times where our lands are occupied one way or the other... (Iraq, Palestine.....) rules don't count.... of course she was extremely wrong... but unfortunately blinded.....

My friend of 11 years said an offensive, ignorant, somewhat racist comment in front me... she didn't aim it to me, and didn't intend to offend me but it bothered me. I told her why I felt it was ignorant, she did not apoligize even though she knew it hurt me...
So I did not speak to her for about 6 months and it took me nearly a year to get over it.

My ex-friend raped a 5-year-old little black boy and fu.cked her dog. I argued that it was completely inhumane. She argued that she could change. Oh hell no.
