Well I belong to the human race.And I can honestly say I have never dated outside of it. What race do you belong to?

yes---i am white from an all white neighborhood-I am middle aged now...but when I was in highschool-i fell in love with a black guy...i just loved him-i must have been ahead of my time because i didn't see color-just love. I was surprized at everyones reactions on both sides of the table-my mother made me quit school (I went back the next week) siblings would not even talk to me.He went through the same on his side..the worst part though was the reaction of my fellow students--the black girls were unbelievable-even attacked me.White guys spit on me and called me a whore...we split up it was just to much--it made everything difficult for us both--this was in the late 70s
So we went our ways and a few years later I married a white guy of my own heritage--he was the most verbally and physically abusive husband you could have. I heard the Black guy I dated is in prison now for drugs and I can't believe it. I often wonder if everyone just left us alone we would have had a good life together---we were both very popular and active in the community back then--we could have gone far-maybe made a difference somehow...
