He is 26. He has an Xbox (not 360) and asked for some spy games or Tom Clancy, but I know he'd like just about anything cool. Any suggestions?

Tom Clancy Games: Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell 2: Pandora Tomorrow, Splinter Cell 3: Chaos Theory, Rainbox 6

The Splinter Cell games are probably the best spy games out there.

Also, a lot of the Splinter Cell games are fairly cheap, around 20.00, at Best Buy.

I would go with the Xbox 360. Mainly because of the great games it already has and the many good games to come. Xbox Live is fantastic (which comes with a 1 month free right out of the Box). Since he's really into racing games, i recommend the following. Nascar 08 Forza 2 PGR 3 or 4 DiRT And, look into buying the Xbox 360 wireless racing wheel. It would really give him that feeling that he's driving an actual vehicle. He can even download Texas Hold 'Em poker on the Xbox Live marketplace for around 400 Microsoft (MS) points. You mentioned that he's into shooting games, well the Xbox is basically the king of FPS. Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, and Halo 3...all of them are great games. Gears of War another great game and even Crackdown can be mentioned. Keep in mind that bundles might appear to be great to buy, which they are times, only if you can find the right ones. One bundle might come with a couple games and an accessory or another might come with 3-4 games. They might not be games he likes so that is something to know.

Splinter Cell Double Agent (by Clancy) was rated very highly at gamespot.com. Just check carefully to make sure he doesn't already have it.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance also rated very highly, and you may find yourself playing along side with him.

Best of luck.
