Liberals and Conservatives are both good at raising your taxes then spending your money on programs that don't work or creating agencies that grow into large agencies like the FDA.
They all think they know how to spend your money better than you do.
They also think they can make laws and rules on how you should live your life. Thats why i am now a Libertarian. Libertarians believe in less government interference in our lives. As far as successful war Presidents I don't think I would call Lyndon Johnson a successful war President. Vietnam was not what I would call a success.

It used to be Liberal is a state of mind that people strive for and proud to have. It means an open mindedness and the willingness to look at the merit of other's ideas and opinions. On the other hand, conservative connotes adherence to old thinking and practices, of preservation of tradition. Based on these attributes I would have to say, Liberals are good at embracing new ideas and improving the common good of man.

People seem to associate liberal with democrat and conservative with republican. There are liberal republicans and conservative democrats. I just felt like I had to inform the people who said the liberals beat the GOP.
Liberals spend more, conservatives spend less. The current administration is conservative, but the president has not vetoed a single spending bill in his entire term in office. It doesn't really matter since the liberals have started acting like the conservatives and the conservatives like the liberals.
There are PROs and CONs to liberal policies and PROs and CONs to conservative policies. Liberals are good at a lot of things and bad at some other things. Conservatives are good at a lot of things and bad at some other things.

Can't say it much better than John. It has to be said. However, one might conversely ask, what are conservatives good at? I would like to say "War" but only creating and not winning. All of the US's Great and successful War Presidents have been Liberals. What do you say to that, Nazi?

Well, now that the liberal fanatics, also known as Democrats, have taken over the government we can see things like this --
Mandatory homosexuality
Drug-filled free condoms passed out in public schools
Border fence between US and Mexico replaced with free shuttles
All taxes to be tripled
On-demand welfare
Interstate highways replaced with bike paths and light rail
Comatose people to be ground up and fed to the poor
Jane Fonda made Secretary of Appeasement
Texas returned to Mexico

Well, that depends on your definition of liberal. The answer is...*Dodging direct answers by differing them to another question. **oh, they are also great at holding people accountable for actions that they themselves have committed. for example, sex scandals. when a certain unnamed political figure commits adultery and then their colleagues crucify a Conservative for the same thing. ***liberals are not politicians. They are certifiably insane.
*The opinions on this post are mine and mine alone. they do not reflect the opinions of any parties to which i affiliate myself.
**situations expressed do not represent any person in real life and do not depict any current events. they are simply interpretations for my use and the use of those reading.
***Please don't start any wars over any of the contents written above.

Creating jobs.
Creating an environment of RISING wages for ALL Americans.
Fiscal Responsibility (The opposite of the GOP's spend more/collect less approach)
Protecting civil liberties
Protecting Americans (the Dems are actually going to make sure the government actually implements the reccommendations of the 9/11 commission. You know....the ones Bush and the GOP ignored, such as protecting our ports, and securing loose nukes).
And last, but not least, beating the GOP in elections!!!!!
