I suggest if you haven't already done so to go to an Ophthalmologist (eye surgeon) and not an optometrist at this point. (Nearsighted people need to go to an ophthalmologist because they may be prone to retinal tears). If you have, then that's half the battle. I don't know how old you are but your eyes will level off somewhere in your late 20's to early 30's. I would continue to go to an ophthalmologist from here on. I have worn my glasses since I was 4 and lets just say I'm way past 30! It will level off. I love the frameless eye where with some sort of metal sides. I really buy the best frames I can get and use my VISION PLAN just for the lenses. It usually costs me a bit over $200. every 2 years but it's worth it. I can't wear contacts at this point cause I also have astigmatism and glaucoma.

Awww a corneal scratch. my god that sucks.

I just got contacts after having glasses for 6 years.

In third grade I had 20/20 vision.
Now I have like -5.00 or something (both eyes).

My favorite brand of glasses was lafont. Very cool, stylish and modern.

There sure is Hun yes, you need to get a diagnosis. Its OK feeding you pills for depression but that only hide3s the issue it does not find the root of the problem therefore not curing it or treating it. Dr`s are all to keen these days to stick patients on meds for depression without taking the time to find out why you are depressed. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain, this we know, this is why we take meds to help that, but also grief, fear, anxiety loss of loved ones, abuse are all triggers for depression and until you find the root cause of what started yours 4 years ago meds alone will not help.Seek some therapy to deal with your emotional trigger, then things get better Hun. Merry Christmas.
