Personally, I like to read the material a couple times over. It sinks in better with the extra reading. Making an outline of the material has also worked well for me. Or making flash cards. Best to study right before you go to sleep, and not to try and cram too much all at once. That way, the memory retains the information better.

Science is a tough one. What I do is make Cornell notes.

don't take advice from me. i hardly ever study for tests, my mindset is that i should've learned everything i need to know during the course...if i don't know it by now, then i wont learn it over-night. hahha. i know, not the best advice, it's just the way i've always been. somehow i managed to get thru college and plan on making it thru my masters probably with the same study habits..haha.

reread things over and over so then when ur taking the test and see a particular word ur memory will remember that page and its like looking at a photo while taking the test!
